船刑，Scaphism，源于古希臘文。
船刑是古波斯帝國的嚴刑。波斯帝國又稱阿契美尼德王朝，由居魯士大帝建立。疆域從米索不達美亞橫跨至印度，從里海伸展到波斯灣，勢力范圍包括今天的伊拉克、伊朗及阿富汗。其地域廣闊，為加強統(tǒng)治，有一系列的嚴刑峻法。船刑是其中之一。
具體做法是將犯人放在兩船中間，上下合攏，犯人的頭和四肢在船外露出。給犯人喂食牛奶和蜂蜜，并在其身上也涂牛奶蜂蜜，吸引各種昆蟲。可反復(fù)喂食，史料稱最長的受刑人17天才死去。
一般這類犯人死于脫水或敗血癥等，本集受害人死于感染性休克。真是閑得可以，用這種方法殺人。
船刑發(fā)出的信號是仇恨。
